Tucked away in the countryside near Penamacor, central Portugal, Quintinha do Sossego is our small farm of tranquillity, a place we're slowly bringing back to life.

We're Callum and Morwenna, swapping Cornwall for olive trees, open skies and a rather different pace of life. Along the way we're restoring an old stone ruin, developing the land, growing food, keeping animals and creating a place where others can come and enjoy this beautiful, often overlooked corner of Portugal too.

In time, you'll be able to stay at Casinha do Sossego, explore the countryside and join us for a growing collection of rural experiences.

Until then, you can follow the whole adventure, including the successes, mistakes and potentially poorly thought-through projects, as we build Quintinha do Sossego.
